2023 Informal Survey Results

An informal survey ran for two weeks up to Christmas 2023. At the time, SCANZ had just under 250 subscribing members; the survey had 137 NZ responses, coming from every NZ group and hamlet. Group proportions roughly corresponded to their current SCANZ membership count, with moderate over-representation from Ildhafn City and slightly under from Cluain and Southron Gaard.

CAVEAT: This was an informal survey, so no direct-to-member mailout occurred. Thus, we can only surmise how closely the results reflect what a formal membership poll would show.

Results are split into several parts - all are limited to NZ responses unless noted:

Avg SCA activity level: 3.3     -  1 is very low, 3 "average", 5 very high

 

Note: for most other results below, the selection range was 0 to 5, hence 2.5 is "neutral".

 

0 is strongly opposed, 2.5 "neutral", 5 strongly in favour

 

Average from the above chart: 3.4   - this corresponds to an "enthusiasm score" of 68%

% of respondents currently in favour of forming an NZ Principality: 80.3%
